Another visit to MU HQ was on the cards today, as I organised the existing MU merchandise stock in advance of a series of industry, political and retail activities this month.
I followed this with a trip into the West End and a meeting with photographer Jonathan Stewart in Berwick Street. This presented the chance to visit a series of favourite haunts including the excellent suits of Adam of London; the site of Trident Studios in St Anne’s Court; the remaining instrument shops in Denmark Street; plus the basement that housed the legendary folk cellar Bunjies at 27 Litchfield Street. My thanks to the management of the existing premises, a Souk restaurant, for their very warm welcome.
